What is the CN bonding Layer?

The CN bonding layer is a semi-cured rubber layer. When it is activated with the bonding system, it completes the vulcanization process. These curing process creates cross links between the materials that provides the strongest bonds available.
The intermediate layer between the rubber sheet and CN bonding layer is propriety to bonding cements and ensure the base rubber and bonding layer are inseparable. We use  REMA TIP TOP’S bonding system to work with our CN filler rubber sheet.
The intermediate layer is differentiated by the softer, more elastic durometer that allows for flexibility and prevents shearing.

FEATURES

CN Filler Rubber sheet is made from a highly elastic premium rubber compound and will display excellent resistance to abrasion.
CN Filler features a specially formulated Neoprene based CN bonding layer on one sides to achieve ultimate adhesion when bonded to steel or rubber surfaces. The CN bonding layer is compatible with a wide range of Neoprene based rubber adhesives and allows for good bond strength to be achieved even in adverse conditions encountered on site.

APPLICATIONS

CN Filler rubber sheet has been designed primarily for use as a conveyor belt cold splicing and repair system. you also can use it in pipes and tanks as lining material to ease your installation and shorten refurbishment time span of the equipment.
It is designed to be used during cold splicing or performing cold repairs on conveyor belts that have been worn or damaged in service.
CN Filler rubber sheet is typically used on conveyors in the Mining, Quarrying and Mineral processing industries. It is designed for use on site without removing the belt from the conveyor system.  It is quick and easy to install and is bonded to the belt using specifically designed cold vulcanizing adhesives.
